24- Year- Old Kidnapper Arrested, See The Amount He Wanted To Sell Minor

A four- year- old boy was abducted in Akure, the state capital of Ondo, and his kidnapper, Samuel Lucky Akpan, has admitted that he intended to sell the victim for N200, 000.

Confession by the arrested kidnapper

According to Vanguard Newspaper, the arrested kidnapper told reporters when he was paraded in Akure by members of the state security organization called Amotekun. He further stated that he was desperately in need of the money right away, which lead him to commit the act.

According to the statement gotten from Samuel, the man he wanted to sell the boy too was already waiting for him at the agreed location to bring the little boy before he was caught by Amotekun operatives.

The suspect, who is a friend of the boy’ s family, was paraded before the public together with 17 other suspected criminals who were accused of harassing inhabitants of the state for the past several months.


In the words of the suspect, ” The boy always comes around to my place to play with me from his mother’ s shop. The boy is always around me most of the time. ”

My arrest occurred as I was on my way to sell the boy for two hundred thousand naira to a man who had already agreed on the amount and the location where the child would be brought. After applying the material to the boy’ s skull, I was already in the process of hypnotizing him to cause him to lose his senses for the main time.

When asked about the arrest, the state commander of Amotekun, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, stated that it was in continuation of the Command’ s desire to cleanse the state of criminals who are jeopardizing their lives and the peace of the citizens.


” We have apprehended a suspect involved in the kidnapping of a four- year- old boy, ” he explained. The youngster was rescued and apprehended with the assistance of the surrounding community and a timely response.

The victim’ s family has expressed their gratitude to the security operatives for their assistance in rescuing their son.

Other arrests conducted by the security operatives

He went on to say that a 27- year- old robbery suspect and cultist, Sola Ogunyemi, was apprehended after he had a fight with some people in his neighborhood. Ogunyemi had only been released from prison six months earlier before he was arrested again.


An ‘ Eiye Confraternity leader’ s English revolver pistol was recovered from the suspect, according to the state commander of Amotekun. ” An English revolver pistol which he claimed belonged to the leader of the ‘ Eiye Confraternity’ was recovered from him. ”

Among the other suspects arrested and detained in connection with the online fraud investigation were nine individuals ranging in age from 18 to 30 years.

Adegboro Opeyemi, Taopheek Yusuf, Micheal Olawole, Sadiku Kehinde, Sule Kabiru, Adetula Ayodeji, Olatokunbo Taiwo, Suleman, and Ayuba Imoleayo are some of the criminals who have appeared before the public. Other criminals involved in related crimes include Adegboro Opeyemi, Taopheek Yusuf, Micheal Olawole.

” Operation Clean Up” will be completed throughout the state, according to the Amotekun Commander, who also stated that the Corps would go on to phase three of the operation.
