Two Chelsea Players Whose Performance Have Been Worst This Season

It is no longer news that Chelsea FC lost by 2-1 to Southampton on Tuesday night. It was the Blues’ second loss in the season as well as in three (3) games. Likewise, it is the same number of games Thomas Tuchel’s side lost in fifteen (15) games played last season in the Premier League. What a shambolic display this season!

It is undeniable that the performance of the Blues’ attackers has been horrible this season though except for Raheem Sterling, who has scored three (3) goals for the club. Others like Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Armando Broja, Hakim Ziyech, and Michy Batshuayi have not scored nor provided an assist for the club this season. But two of the attackers have been in the club’s starting eleven in all four (4) games played so far this season.

Chelsea FC has only managed to score six (6) goals this season, three (3) scored by Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly (1), Reece James (1), Jorginho (1) while Kai Havertz nor Mason Mount has scored any. Both players have played a combined seven hundred and seventy-seven (777) minutes and neither is yet to score nor provide an assist during this period.

Erling Haaland only has scored as many goals as the number scored by the entire Chelsea FC squad this season.
