Transfer News: Luka Jovic To Manchester United, Man Utd To Accept £50m Martial Bid

Lionel Messi is leaving Barcelona and one report is linking him with a late move to United.

Duncan Castles suggests United is preparing a late off for Messi and his family to consider.

Raphael Varane could undergo his medical at Manchester United today. Varane has been quarantining since he arrived in England with his family on Thursday, but the Manchester Evening News understands United is planning to conduct the 28-year-old’s medical today (Tuesday) if Varane returns a negative test for Covid-19.

The defender would then sign his contract on Wednesday morning at United’s Carrington training complex, where he would pose for unveiling shots ahead of a planned afternoon announcement.

According to a report by The Sun, as cited by the Daily Mail, Manchester United is ready to accept an offer of £50million from Inter Milan for Anthony Martial.

Speculation concerning Martial’s future has been rife in recent weeks and Inter is reportedly very interested in signing the Frenchman.

It is claimed that Inter believes Martial is the perfect replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is close to completing a move to Chelsea.

Manchester United remains interested in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, according to reports.

Manchester United United are desperate to bolster their midfield options before the end of the transfer window and have been linked with a whole host of central-midfielders in recent weeks and months.

Reports linking Saul with United have been consistent, but finances are likely to dictate where United go with their search to strengthen that area of the team.

Manchester United is ready to rival Arsenal in the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Christian Tolisso, according to reports, as cited by the Metro.

It is reported that both clubs are in the hunt to land a new central-midfielder and the Frenchman could be the answer that they are looking for, with it claimed that he would cost just £8.5million.

He has just one year left on his current contract and the German giants are said to be ready to cash in.

Manchester United isn’t expected to make a move for a new striker before deadline day, but that won’t stop the rumors.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is open to adding a new midfielder or full-back in the next three weeks but Tribal Football suggests it is striker Luka Jovic who is being discussed.

Buried in an opinion piece is a line suggesting ‘Jovic’s price and availability have him front of mind inside Carrington HQ’.
