Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi declares intention to contest in 2023, friends presents nomination form

Former Rivers Commissioner for Lands & Survey, High Chief Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi, Esq has notified his intention to join the race for House of Representatives in the 2023 general election.

Barr Ezemonye who made a formal declaration to shoulder the responsibility of representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, reiterated that the All Progressives Congress will win elections to drive home the needs of the people;

“If it pleases you, members and delegates of APC in Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency and you support me and give me the ticket again as you gave me in 2018, I stand here to assure you that, that which didn’t happen in 2019 will happen in 2023. I want to repeat what I said then that my feet and hands are very strong. This election, once we find our names in the ballot with your support and by the grace of God we will win”

Chief Ezems further admonished the need to work in love and unity, as it is the only way the party can get victory at the polls.

“If not for God, you see where hatred has kept us. We don’t want to go that route again. This time we must focus on those things that unite us, we must show love to one another, that is the only way we’ll be able to take over the government at the Federal, State & Local in 2023.

“Let us come together as one family so that we’ll defeat the monster. We must come together. If it pleases you and you give me that mandate again, I will carry everbody along. Even if you don’t want me to carry you, I will carry you by force.”

“We must support each other and that way we’ll win. I will see you after the primaries on the other side of victory.”

In what seem to be the top highlight of the event, associates led by Prof Eddie Adiele presented an Interest and a Nomination forms to Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi in a bid to support the long time clarion call on him to contest for House of Representatives.

The notification of interest event witnessed myriads of party stalwarts, stakeholders, opinion leaders and highly elated constituents at Ikwerre Youth Movement (IYM) Secretariat, Isiokpo in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
