In Manchester United’s first league game of the season, they lost 2-1 against Brighton and Hove Albion while they were embarrassed 4-0 by Brentford in the second game. However, since that game, they have won five of their six games, keeping three clean sheets and conceding only three goals.

Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Diogo Dalot have all been called up by manager Fernando Santo as Portugal prepares for games against the Czech Republic and Spain. Raphaël Varane’s impressive form at the start of the season has been rewarded with a call-up to the national team.
