Chelsea Forward Could Finally Leave The Club On A Permanent Deal In 2022

Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will be looking towards overhauling their current squad under the management of Thomas Tuchel when then transfer window opens.

The West London club splashed the cash during the summer as they aimed to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title.

However if they are to sign more players in January, Chelsea are very much aware of their need to offload some fringe players in order to create space for new additions to their squad.

And now, Chelsea football club could be prepared to offload experienced forward Kenedy on a permanent deal when the transfer window opens in January.

The 25-year-old Brazil International, who joined the Chelsea youth academy in 2005 has found it difficult to break into the Chelsea first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The experienced right-winger has however endured loan spells at different clubs including Watford, Newcastle United, Getafe and Granada over the past seasons.

Kenedy spent the 2020/2021 season on loan at Brazilian side Flamengo where he scored just one goal in the 18 matches he played in all competitions.

And now according to reports from The Sun, Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk are eyeing a transfer move for Kenedy when the transfer window opens in January.

The reports further claimed that Shakhtar Donetsk wants to add more firepower to their squad and are ready to make a move to sign Kenedy from Chelsea.

That said, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be interested in offloading the experienced right-winger Kenedy if the right offer comes in when the transfer window opens.
