My Best Performing Governors In 2021

Despite the economic hardship that rocked the nation in 2021, some state governors were able to use their meager allocation judiciously. Also, some made policies that might be of benefit to the masses.

In this article, Euphoric shall be featuring his best performing governors in 2021. In no particular order, below is the list:
Malam Nasiru El-Rufai.

Kaduna State, located in the northwestern region was on the news in the year 2021 for many reasons including insecurity. Despite all odds, gov El-Rufai has been able to prove himself as a good leader.

Several infrastructural developments have been witnessed in the state. In 2021, the Kawo bridge and Leventis roundabout were completed giving motorists a sigh of relief – in the past, these two places were a nightmare to motorists. Also, several other roads were constructed by the governor.

Furthermore, some policies made by the governor might benefit the masses. For instance, the 4-day working week for civil servants in the state will give them a chance to go digital and become more productive since they will be working from home on Fridays. Additionally, the Christmas bonus for civil servants will help boost the morale of workers.
Prof Babagana Zulum.

With the activities of terrorists in Borno, it is surprising that the state is still witnessing infrastructural developments.

If you have visited Maiduguri in 2021, you will agree with me that roads in the city are up to standard. A few days ago, President Buhari commissioned one of the first flyovers in the northeastern region all thanks to gov Zulum – many other projects were also commissioned in the state.

Besides infrastructure, gov Zulum has been trying to carry civil servants along by motivating them with his presence and paying their salaries when due. On several occasions, he has visited workers to catch those who are taking their jobs with laxity and those using the insecurity situation in the state to siphon funds – recall how some fake IDPs were exposed after the gov visited their camps unannounced.
