Barcelona set to steal jk deal from chelsea after last minute bid
In another epic transfer battle, Chelsea are reportedly set to lose their third target to FC Barcelona this summer. Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, who was all set for a move to Stamford Bridge in a turn of events could land up at the Camp Nou.
Kounde was chased by both Barcelona and Chelsea, with the Blues wanting him since last summer. While Sevilla were first reluctant in letting their defender go, they have finally agreed to facilitate his departure this summer.
However, Barcelona had backed out of Kounde’s pursuit after Sevilla slapped a price tag of £60 million on him. Chelsea on the other hand quickly tabled a bid of £55 million plus add-ons, much to the satisfaction of Sevilla.…Continue Reading
But the tables have turned after Barcelona have made a last-minute attempt to match Chelsea’s offer. And according to Barcelona insider Gerard Romero a deal has been now agreed between the Catalans and Kounde.
Jules Kounde to Barcelona ’99 per cent done’ claims Romero
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea ‘have sent the paper works to Sevilla for Kounde deal’ after agreeing a 5-year contract with the player.
Moreover, Barca president Joan Laporta had admitted that Kounde ‘is signing for Chelsea’ while answering a fan’s question. It seems however the 23-year-old, who preferred a move to Catalonia will get what he wants.
Gerard Romero while taking it to Twitter revealed, “This morning Barca and Sevilla have reached an AGREEMENT principle for Jules Kounde.
“The operation is closed by 99 per cent, except for a cataclysm in the next few hours, the central defender of Sevilla will be a culer [Barcelona player].”
If the reports are to be believed, Kounde would become the third player this summer, after Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha to reject Chelsea for Barcelona.
Though no confirmation has been issued by any of the involved parties, Kounde has unexpectedly turned up to Sevilla’s training camp after initially been left out to close his Chelsea move.
Only the next few days will tell, whether Kounde remains in Spain, however with Barcelona or travels to the Premier League for a new chapter with Chelsea.
