Arsenal Star Becomes The Latest Player To Score EPL Goal For Club On Every Day Of The Week

English premier league giant, Arsenal FC forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in action yesterday for the Gunners in their 9th game of the season against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Borussia Dortmund star was given a role to play in his team’s starting XI following his incredible performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to impress.

The Gabonese striker was superb for the Mikel Arteta’s side in the show of the night as he played significant roles in his team’s crucial win by netting a goal and creating an assist which placed them on a six-game unbeaten run.

Arsenal in the game took a double lead in the first half courtesy of goals from Thomas Partey with his first ever goal for the club and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

The host in the second half put up some more physical, tactical and technical displays and as such extended their lead with a goal from Emile Smith-Rowe to make it three goals to nil before Jacob Ramsey scored a consolation for the visitor in the late minute to the end of the game to make it three goals to one at full time.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with his goal of the night has now scored 7 goals for the club this season in all competitions making him the second player with the most goals for EPL clubs after Mohamed Salah (12).

His last five goal involvements has been been at the Emirates Stadium thereby making him the second top scorer for Arsenal at home (43) with just three goals behind Robin Van Persie (46).

With his goal scored yesterday been Friday, the football maestro has now scored a Premier League goal for Arsenal on every day of the week:

Wednesday (6)

Thursday (1)

Friday (1)

Saturday (9)

Sunday (40).

He has now joined the likes of Nigerian star and Leicester City forward, Kelechi Ịheanachọ who did the same last season among others.

Arsenal with the win of the night now sit at the 9th spot on the table with 14 points in 9 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture.
